At the heart of everything we do at Wabi Sabi is a determination to make a positive contribution to sustainability and the planet's ecosystem. With our furniture range, this is achieved in two ways.

Firstly, every unique piece of furniture in our boutique shop has been sourced from existing high-quality pieces. Each piece is then carefully restored and redesigned. This approach encourages a circular economy, making the most of beautiful, well-made pieces that already exist. It reduces the production of new goods, which in turn saves the Earth's precious resources and has the added bonus of reducing the amount of items unnecessarily sent to landfills.

The second way in which Wabi Sabi makes a difference is through its commitment to operating as a 'non-profit'. We are set up as a Community Interest Company (CIC). All our profits are used to increase biodiversity. Our first project is to plant fruit orchards across the Wirral. The first of these will be planted in Greasby in October.
